Invoicing

Prices are VAT21% not included and differ according to the source and target langue, deadlines, technical level, total volume, a one-shot document or recurring project, need for research, etc.

In case of non-payment of an invoice on the due date, the sum owed shall be automatically increased without prior notice of default by the legal interest rate per month.

After explicit approval of the Client, the translator/copywriter has the right to invoice the finished assignment to the price agreed upon. If the contract should be interrupted before the official delivery date is reached, for any reason whatsoever beyond the control of the copywriter, the translator/copywriter has the right to invoice the part of the assignment already carried out according to the applicable rates.

Responsibilities & (Personal) Data Protection

The client’s requirements and wishes will be clearly discussed and summarized in a free quotation. In case of copywriting, the client’s content related expectations and guidelines will be discussed during a short meeting, if necessary. Only on written approval of the client, the translator/copywriter can get to work.

The translator/copywriter cannot be held responsible for the content of the documents since either content is delivered by the Client itself or content is elaborated on the basis of the information that the client provides.

The translator/copywriter delivers the documents in the chosen format, which means these documents may be adapted afterwards. Consequently, the translator/copywriter cannot be held responsible for inaccurate text in a document that was subsequently amended by the client after the termination of the assigment in question.

The translator/copywriter commits itself, under any form whatsoever, not to abuse or to spread the information of which he took notice, or which was directly or indirectly entrusted by the client to the translator/copywriter, even after termination of the assignment in question.

The translator/Copywriter shall assure the client’s or prospect's strictest privacy, including their personal data (in compliance with the GDPR of May 25th, 2018).
